During our family stay at Matkailumaja Heikkala Cottages, we were delighted by the well-thought-out design and family-friendly amenities. Our kids especially loved the separate bedroom designed just for them, giving them their own space to unwind after a day of exploration. As for us adults, the cozy corner with a double bed and curtains provided just the right amount of privacy.Our stay coincided with the summer season, but the presence of cross-country ski and snowmobile trails in the surroundings hinted at the winter wonders this place has to offer. The area's popularity for skiing and fishing made it evident why families looking for outdoor adventures choose this spot. The nearby reindeer farm added a touch of local authenticity to our experience, allowing us to witness these majestic creatures up close.The friendly staff, coupled with the convenient location near Oulanka National Park, made our time here truly memorable.
